Here they are in their first hour with Photoshop Giulia, after we watched a movie about visual effects and made a short walk near the Media Park to visit the most important attractions in the vicinity. We wish them the best as they enter the world of 3D animation and visual effects.

FXGuide has an extensive article online covering the work that goes into creating invisible and seamless visual effects for film. VFX directors and supervisors from a different number of studios talk about how they are able to enhance the director’s vision on screen. The article focuses on the recent films War Horse, Safe House, Big Miracle and Underworld: Awakening. It is a fairly long article worth reading if you are interested in the Visual Effects for film.

We've had a lot fun helping young students take their first steps in the amazing world of 3D with our Introduction to 3D workshop. The Winter theme has been running since the start of December and was originaly scheduled to end on the 22nd, but we have added a few more dates.
We will have additional classes on the Tuesday the 27th and Thursday the 29th for anyone who couldn't register in time. You can see what you will learn in the full day class by having a look at the animations made by students on our vimeo channel.
If you couldn't make it to one of our earlier classes, you can register online now.

Pixl Visn has a new city for our students to explore. We now have a fully modelled and textured 3D city environment that our students use for class projects and special workshops.
We've made a video to show off the city with a retro film look.
